“What does your favorite color say about you?”
“Find out what your choice of pet means about you!”
“Which season goes with which personality?”
Variations of the preceding three sentences have been uttered millions of times. Silly tests exist for such variants as well. Corny as they are, the questionnaires are valid to a sandy small degree, since one’s choices in life indeed often reflect his character.
As a general rule, someone with a fiery personality will be drawn to the radiant color red. An active, outdoorsy person will be inclined to get a gregarious Golden Retriever. A depressive personality likely favors the woeful winter season. We all know that red is the color of dynamism, Golden Retrievers are playfully energetic, and the cold of winter lowers moods. These types of associations are generated based on collectively agreed upon symbols and observations.
Forms of Vibration
So what about music, then? The genres include rock, rap, electric, psychedelic, soul, country, pop, and jazz. Some people listen to primarily one or two genres, whereas others listen to all kinds of music. A song comprises two components – lyrics and melody. Some songs stab straight to the soul; some circle superficially around the skull. All music is nevertheless forms of vibrations.
Some pieces of music oscillate at a level lower than a dungeon full of demons, whereas other pieces harmonize at a level higher than a sky full of sunlight. Certain vibrations attract certain people, depending on either transitory moods or cemented characters. Metal listeners, for instance, tend to possess a peculiar blackness in their spirits.
Which Music Purifies Demons?
With the above paragraph in mind, what genre of music is most likely to remove the wicked? Classical. A plethora of studies regarding this phenomenon is lacking, but there exists an anecdote involving a convenience store owner. Said owner was sick of gross gremlins hanging and pooping near his franchise. After blasting opera music from inside his shop, the oversized roaches scurried away and avoided the building.
However, the decent, respectable regular customers of his shop continued their dealings with the owner. To their pleasure, they’ve noted the enhanced quality of the surrounding area without cruddy crawlers. The space was cleaner and absent of any smell of body odor or drugs.
Most people would not select classical music as their top, go-to genre of music. Many people, although initially relaxed by such compositions, quickly get bored of them. That’s fine. The bottom feeders are different. It’s as if they absolutely abhor symphonies. One could argue that it is the loudness of the music through the speaker that irritates the deplorables, but no complaints about volume come from the paying customers. Also, many people just above the loiterers in terms of class crank the volume of their car speakers enough to be heard in the surrounding cars on the streets.
Had the shop owner switched to playing music about drugs, sex, and violence, then the disgraces would have likely gravitated toward the shop no less quickly than a swarm of locusts heads towards a field of crops. Keen perception and pattern recognition will support this generalization; no study is needed. Low caliber people like low class music. Simple.
That the crustaceans of society dislike classical music is no surprise; but utter contempt to the point of active avoidance, a neat surprise to the proper people who want to avoid the crabs. Think of the exorcism of evil spirits using holy water, or the vanishing of vampires via a whiff of garlic.
Famous Rice Experiment
At this point, an experiment comes to my mind – one involving rice and affirmations. The experiment was carried out first by Japanese doctor Masaru Emoto. He poured rice into three jars. To the first jar he said “Thank you” once per day; to the second, “You idiot”; third, nothing. The experiment lasted for 30 days. Only the first jar fermented healthily.
From the results of the experiment, Dr. Emoto claimed that positive words can have a substantial effect on ordinary substances. The experiment was carried out as scientifically as it could be with the technology we currently have. There was a control group – a jar that was told nothing. All the jars were tested for 30 days and contained the same amount of rice. The experiment was also reproduced multiple times with similar results each time.
Beauty Repels Filth
That said, words themselves are arbitrary. They have meaning only because humans give them meaning. Inanimate objects understand no language. Therefore, such objects, along with living plants, respond more likely to the energy behind words. “Thank you” can be said gladly or sarcastically. “You idiot” can be said jokingly in jolly or seriously in strife. Emotions are just a form of biological energy that travels through the body. We can’t yet measure this energy definitively.
Since humans attribute meaning to words, the latter influences the former. Lyrics program the mind. If one continually listens to songs about degeneracy, then said person is more liable to become debased. The reverse is true as well; that is, the depraved are more likely than the honorable to listen to trash.
Trash attracts maggots and beauty attracts butterflies. The situation involving the 7-Eleven owner is only a single anecdote. Nonetheless, more businesses in low class areas ought to attempt to blast operas to get rid of the ratchet. Such people are of no benefit to civil society.
