Imagine this. You’re leaving your job for the day. You get on the freeway for your 30-minute commute. You get off the freeway with 5 minutes left until you get home. All of a sudden, you feel the beginnings of an earthquake. The surrounding cars act as if they notice nothing. Everything is fine from their perspective. You are the only one that notices the earthquake. Time is moving like a tortoise, yet your pelvis swings as fast as lightning strikes. You are stressed out. Your body is sweating. You speed up your car and finally make it home. You rush to the bathroom to let out the spicy food you ate this morning.

Afterwards, you feel a profound sense of relief. Your pelvis is soothed now, but your bathroom has turned into a cowshed. No problem! You whip out your weapon – a can of Febreze air freshener. The army of droplets attack the icky air particles. They fight tooth and nail. Like always, they win, and the shed turns into a bathroom that smells delightful. You walk out of the gates of heaven, and decide to buy some more cans of Febreze. You find them on Amazon.

But then, you wonder, how does Febreze eliminate odors instead of masking them? You type in “how does Febreze eliminate odors” into the Google Search engine. You find out that the droplets of Febreze spray contain the foul-smelling germs. This means that the army recruited by Febreze are not trained to kill the enemy. Rather, they trap the enemy soldiers to prevent them from emitting that nasty odor.

In contrast, fragrances like Glade don’t eliminate odors. They simply mask odors. Any army recruited by Glade simply shoves the enemy forces. They don’t trap and suffocate the enemy like the Febreze army does. Chances are, you’ve never met someone who skipped showering for 10 days and tried masking their odor with deodorant. What if you did? Yuck! That’s disgusting. You’d be able to tell.

You don’t want to smell a mixture of pleasant and unpleasant scents. You want to smell pleasant or neutral scents only. No wonder Febreze air spray is one of the top selling scented products. It eliminates odors like the advertisements say.

You can always purchase some cans at Wal-Mart or Amazon. I’ll be honest. I did not know that tens of millions of people use Wal-Mart to shop online. I thought Instacart was more popular.
